Great walking, great views from the cottage, the most gorgeous rare-breed sheep you’ve ever seen, great local village and a spectacular place to spend time. We loved every aspect of it, the bath and super comfy bedding was a total bonus! We had the best time for our anniversary and can't wait to come back! Absolutely LOVED it from start to finish and would highly reccomend to anyone looking for a break in the peak district. Thank you so much for having us! Great selection of games and puzzles for a quiet night in as well...we even got to practise our backgammon skills! Love it, love it, love it!

Seeing the sheep and the views just felt like complete relaxation for us.

If you want to curl up on the big sofa in front of the TV or go on a long walk this is the perfect place. Oh and the Big Bath is very relaxing.

Hartington is a mile away and is a lovely place with the stores and amenities that you need. Beresford Tea Rooms serves a lovely breakfast and the Cheese shop is great. Everyone in the area were very friendly.

Jane was super-responsive and very helpful.
